For London Arbitration Week, the LMAA hosted an event titled “Ad hoc arbitration using LMAA Terms to resolve shipping, trade and offshore disputes – what, when and why”.

The Association is very sad to report the passing of Tim Marshall, who died on 5 November 2025.

The Association was delighted to host a seminar in Singapore on 18 November 2025 in the historic surroundings of the Singapore Cricket Club.

The Association regularly receives visits from overseas delegations who are interested in learning more about the LMAA.

In collaboration with the IDRC and as part of the LISW25, on 15 September 2025, the Association held a Mock Arbitration event which took the form of a simulation of an LMAA Maritime Arbitration hearing.

The Arbitration Act 2025 entered into force in full on 1 August 2025.
