The LMAA Committee is delighted to report that it has appointed Tim Hartland to take over the role of Honorary Secretary when Gerard Hopkins steps down at the end of 2025.

Tim spent his chartering career working for ship owners, cargo interests, trading houses and latterly as a shipbroker with Thurlestone Shipping. He retired in December 2025.

The Association is very grateful to Gerard for his diligence and hard work and we wish him well for the future.
