The above procedure would be suitable for cases more substantial than those for which the Small Claims Procedure is designed, but in which the parties do not want a full-scale arbitration.
The LMAA/Baltic Exchange Mediation Terms 2009
The Association has formulated the above Mediation Terms for the resolution of disputes by Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) effective from 1st January 2002. The Terms are a revision of The LMAA Concilliation Terms 1991.
The LMAA Early Neutral Evaluation Guidelines
The Association has published details of an Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE) scheme effective from 1st January 2022 to stand alongside its popular and extremely successful arbitration service. A proforma ENE Agreement can be found here.
