BIMCO’s new Mediation/Alternative Dispute Resolution Clause 2021 is a very useful and important addition to the tools for resolving maritime disputes. It is designed for use alongside – and not in place of – a jurisdiction or arbitration clause. Among others, LMAA Past President Clive Aston assisted in developing this clause.
